Patano Studio Architecture
Patano Studio Architecture LLC is a full service architecture studio that works in the Pacific Northwest and beyond with broad experience in transportation, parks, educational, performance and residential projects. Our practice has been built on successfully delivering complex projects with unusual parameters.
Patano Studio Architecture takes only five projects in active design at any time to ensure our full capabilities are dedicated to our clients. This ensures that Christopher Patano, AIA – Studio Director and Erik Barr, AIA – Director of Practice are involved in every project undertaken by the studio.
The latest technologies implemented by the studio enables our nimble team to execute large scale projects with an efficient process. Patano Studio utilized cutting edge building information modeling and energy modeling software to develop award winning high performance, low energy use buildings for our clients. We emphasize locally sourced materials and building techniques to create beautiful structures with finely tuned spatial experiences.
Patano Studio Architecture have been recognized as a Regionally Emerging Firm by the Seattle AIA in 2010 and have been distinguished with a national WoodWorks 2015 Green Building with Wood Award, a COTE Top Ten “What Makes it Green” Award in 2008, AIA Citation Awards in 2004 and 2014, an AIA Honor Award in 2014 and three Best Use of Idaho Wood Awards in 2012 and 2014. Our work has been featured in Dwell Magazines #12 Favorite House and on World Architecture’s 50×50, Architizer and ArchDaily.
