Social Media Tactics to Elevate Your Online Presence

Join SPARC and Paxson Fay to discuss how small-mid-size architecture firms can maximize their social media presences.

Presented by AIA Seattle’s Small Practice and Residential Committee

Social media is constantly evolving and it’s role in community, marketing and branding is more important than ever. Social media is an essential tool for establishing an online presence, defining culture and attracting talent. The aim of this workshop is to provide architects with a better understanding of social media and how to implement it into any marketing strategy utilizing effective systems and strategies.

We will cover four main areas including (1) the current state of social media (what platforms provide the most value?) and why it’s important; (2) the right content to share (what type of content is appropriate for each platform, how to develop it, and the best way to share it); (3) the systems and tools to easily maintain a consistent presence online; and (4) how to build a community around your brand through online engagement.

Learning Objectives:

Background: Understand the role of social media in marketing and community building in 2018 and beyond
Content: Develop a clear understanding of the content that’s right for your company and how to develop that content, then how to schedule it
Execution: Gain a social media toolkit of systems that help to streamline and ease the posting/participation
Connect and network: Building community and better engaging with that community
