SIAF: Pechakucha México

SIAF PechaKucha Evening
México: Art, Architecture & Culture
20 Images for 20 Seconds | 10 Presentations

Please join us for an inspiring evening of short, visually exciting, talks by 11 presenters with connections to architecture and design in México.

PechaKucha translates as “the sound of conversation” or “chit-chat” in Japanese. Its creators wanted a space to share ideas and messages through presentations. A highly visual presentation style, constrained by automatically advancing slides, this format compels speakers to select powerful imagery and streamline their narrative. In a similar way to a Haiku poem, PechaKucha forces the presenter to creatively arrange their message within a strict form – with uncommonly stimulating results!

Presenters come from diverse backgrounds in Architecture, Engineering and Design, and represent a wide range of themes and interests.

Traditional Méxican foods and drinks, and opportunities for questions and conversations will bookend the presentations.
