Panel Discussion of Seattle Living Building Pilot Program

Cascadia Green Building Council’s Seattle Collaborative and the AIA’s Committee on the Environment invite you to learn the ins and outs of the newly enacted Living Building Pilot Program. This much anticipated event offers an in depth look into the viability and profitability of the Living Building Pilot Program in Seattle’s ever growing real estate market.

Through the hour and half advocacy driven presentation, the knowledgeable presenters will educate participants on the allowable departures from the Seattle Land Use Code upon achieving Living Building Challenge certification, which represents the top tier of sustainable building certifications. After the presentation, an interactive panel discussion will allow participants to discuss the challenges of real estate development and design under the Living Building Pilot Program. The panel of presenters includes:

  • Brett Phillips, Unico Properties
  • Alicia Daniels Uhlig, International Living Future Institute
  • Joanna Callahan, Hess Callahan Partners
  • Andy Lee, Architecture 2030
  • Jess Harris, Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections

Come early to get a seat for this exciting event as we pave the way to a sustainable future. Food and beverages will be provided.

Registration is now closed, please contact Missy Garvin if you have any questions.
