Erica Loynd will give an overview on the paths that architects from other countries can take to become licensed. After Erica’s overview, the room will be open for an open discussion with Kendall Strong and Milen Stanev, who recently have taken two different paths to become licensed architects in Washington.
Erica Loynd is an architect with DLR Group in Seattle. She has been licensed for over 8 years, and was elected as the Washington State Licensure Advisor for AIA Washington Council in 2015. She volunteers to be a liaison directly to you for NCARB and the Washington Licensing Board to ensure you have resources to talk through your individual paths. Erica has worked with DLR Group for 14 years in various roles on public and government projects. She is passionate about mentorship and career development at all stages of an architect’s experiences.
