2018 Energy in Design Calculator Demonstration
As part of the 2018 Honor Awards, all submissions in the BUILT category are required to submit energy use data in consideration of the Energy in Design Award. We provide an easy-to-use tool, the Energy in Design Calculator, to capture standard information and compare results toward the Architecture 2030 targets.
Join us at the Center on Thursday, August 30 for an informational session about the Energy in Design Calculator. Michael Gilbride of the Integrated Design Lab at the University of Washington will provide a demonstration of the tool and take your questions.
Technical assistance from the Integrated Design Lab will be made available during the final days of the Honor Awards submission. For general questions about the Energy in Design Award, please contact AIA Seattle Professional Programs Manager Cassie Blair.
