AIA Seattle Welcomes Cassandra Delaune and Karoline Vass

AIA Seattle welcomes two new members of the AIA Seattle team. Cassandra Delaune, LEED® AP, CSBA is the organization’s new Program Manager for AIA+2030 and Karoline Vass is the Director of Professional Programs.

 

Cassandra has many years experience in sustainable building, was formerly the Education Coordinator with O’Brien & Company and is a member of the Cascadia Region Green Building Council. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business with a specialization in Finance. The AIA+2030 Program Manager position is new and was created to replicate the locally successful AIA+2030 program on a national scale.

 

Cassandra said, “I see a passion and a conviction at AIA Seattle that I look forward to partnering with my skills at managing relationships as we convey AIA Seattle’s program and mission to professionals and partners across the country.”

 

Karoline has a Master ’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington and has held positions at GGLO, Belt Collins and, most recently, was Special Projects Manager with Mithun. Karoline replaces outgoing Director of Professional Programs Janet Stephenson who is now with Sellen Construction.

 

“Seattle has an extremely active design community that espouses the values of social and environmental responsibility while continually striving for design excellence. This is a difficult and pivotal time for our industry and I am proud to work with AIA Seattle to enrich our community by catalyzing innovative, integrated design,” said Karoline.
