We will demonstrate how utilizing design tools to create a Building Information Model for integrated project delivery can also be used to exploit the data for use in Green Building analysis and LEED certification. Technology featured will included Autodesk Revit, Green building studio and ECOTECT, an industry leading building analysis program that allows designers to work easily in 3D and apply all the tools necessary for an energy efficient and sustainable future.

Presenter: Ken Yost, Application Specialist
Ken is one of the Senior Building Solutions Division Application Specialists for IMAGINiT Technologies and has been with the company since 2001. He is a member of the Technical Knowledge team for Revit and helped develop the current TakeAIM implementation procedures used by IMAGINiT.
Ken has been involved in the construction industry since 1976. After graduating university he became the CAD Manager for Genesis Architects and Engineers in South Bend, Indiana, where he oversaw the coordination of structural and architectural plans of several large projects. In 1988 he joined Robert McNeel & Associates in Seattle, WA, a large Autodesk reseller and software developer.
Over the past 19 years Ken as been involved in the implementation and standardization of AutoCAD®, AutoCAD® Architecture (formerly Architectural Desktop) and Revit® for some of the top companies on the Forbes’s Fortune 100. Today, he spends most of his time implementing Revit® Architecture and Revit® Structure.
Ken graduated from Andrews University School of Architecture in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.
