A passion for environmentally responsible design and construction along with his extensive research on sustainable design and urban planning, Jason brings 10 years of experience along with an integrated and wholistic approach to the design and construction process. Jason relocated to Seattle from New York City to join Vulcan’s Design & Construction team in March of 2007 to support its vision of building a sustainable community within the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle.

Considered one of the originators of the Sustainable Architecture and Planning movement in the United States, Pliny was one of fourteen design visionaries selected by Metropolis Magazine in 2006. He has also received numerous national and international awards including a USGBC Leadership in 2008. Pliny’s work ranges from helping formulate local and national policy in green building, to designing signature buildings, many of which have been published in the national press.
