As noted in a previous message posted July 14, we have commenced an active search for a new Executive Vice President of AIA Seattle.
This effort is being led by the EVP Search Task Force, chaired by Marilyn Brockman AIA. The Task Force is up and running and committed to finding a highly qualified, energetic and personable leader for our AIA component office. Task Force members include, in addition to Chair Marilyn Brockman AIA, AIA Seattle 2005-06 President Randy Everett AIA, 2006-07 President Walter Schacht AIA, Treasurer John Bierly AIA, Rachel Minnery AIA, Grace Kim AIA, 2001-02 President Steve Arai AIA, and staff member/Controller Kristin Boyer. Marga Rose Hancock Hon. AIA, AIA Seattle's EVP since 1985, currently provides transitional assistance as Interim EVP, and in coming months will take on a significant new portfolio, to focus on various endeavors critical to our component's upcoming AIA150 observance.
