2009 AIA Seattle Merit Award
The AIA Seattle 2004 Honor Awards for Washington Architecture will culminate in jury conversation and presentation Monday evening November 8, at McCaw Hall, Seattle Center.
The AIA Seattle Honor Awards Committee and Chair George Shaw AIA cordially invite colleagues from the design community of Washington to participate in a consideration of how our designs and their realization, in concert with our clients and industry collaborators, reflect the unique conditions of our ever-evolving forms of community.
How do the structures we create most successfully express and address environmental, economic, regulatory, and social factors unique to the Northwest at this moment in our history?
The online submittal format and the jury's review will stress the problems solved by design in the projects submitted, whether realized in construction, commissioned or intended for possible construction, or presented as hypothetical solutions. See eligibility criteria posted below.
