Suehiro Architecture is engaged in the practice of Architecture, Master Planning and Facilities Planning for public and private clients nationally and internationally.
The practice has an emphasis on transportation planning and design with specialized knowledge and experience in airport terminal passenger facilities, and leads air terminal project teams from master planning and concept phases through detail design. This specialized focus allows Suehiro Architecture to pursue commissions that exceed the traditional services of small architecture companies.
Suehiro Architecture is currently Airport Architect on project teams for: the Terminal Renovation and Expansion Project at Spokane International Airport, Airport Planning IDIQ, and the Airline Realignment Project at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The firm recently completed: the Air Terminal Development Strategy Plan and the Landside FIS (new International Arrivals Facility) Refinement Plan at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the new International + Transborder Terminal at Calgary International Airport (to open in 2016), the Airport Master Plan for Kona International Airport, the Air Terminal Expansion Program at Kelowna International Airport, and Airline Realignment Projects for American Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Jet Blue, and expansion of the International Check-in Hall also for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
