Design Professionals Crafts Circle

Thursday February 26, 2004, 5-7pm
Maxwelton Aerie Alpaca Studio, 81 Vine Street #102, Seattle

The AIA Seattle Diversity Roundtable (Clarence Kwan AIA, Chair) invites all to join AIA Seattle President Kristen M. Scott AIA and AIA Seattle 2001 Medallist Carolyn D. Geise FAIA around the crafts table for an informal creative session, in the inspirational atmosphere of Maxwelton Aerie Alpaca Studio in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood.

Please feel welcome to bring small and portable projects of all kinds – knitting and needlework, hand-weaving, basketry, woodwork, whatever – or just ideas for craft projects to develop in creative company. Count on presence of others who know both more and less than you do about your craft, to share teaching and learning experiences.

Object: companionable gathering to consider and craft a fund-raising project to complete the endowment of the AIA Seattle Fund for Architectural Diversity, to support individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds in studies at the University of Washington College of Architecture and Urban Planning.

No cost or obligation to attend, please just show up!
