Honors Series: Jack Rafn

Tuesday December 17, 2002
Noon luncheon at Four Seasons/Olympic, Seattle

A visionary constructor who puts into practice the highest ideals of the collaborative building arts, Jack Rafn consistently and energetically requires architects to achieve their best with him. We especially value and benefit from his participation with AIA Seattle and the City of Seattle on the Housing Design Demonstration Project in 1999, during his extended term on the UW Architecture Professional Advisory Board shaping the education of the next generation of design and building, and as a forward-looking partner in the creation of AIA Seattle Plan 2010. He advocates and embodies the principles of disciplinary integration and the management of successful professional relationships.

As an Advisory Member to the AIA Seattle Board of Directors 2000-2002, in his ongoing work with the UW College of Architecture and Urban Planning, and in nurturing the organization of young design and building professionals, Jack continues to advance a vision of excellence in the professional relationships that contribute to excellence in design and construction. His colleagues welcomed Jack as an AIA Seattle Honorary Member in 2000.

Honors/Fellows Council President Roger Williams FAIA welcomes colleagues of all disciplines and generations to celebrate the holidays in the company of distinguished colleagues.

By advance registration only, by Friday December 13 please, @ $35/person.
