I am committed to increasing public and professional awareness of the importance of design. My advocacy has involved me in public outreach, continuing education, and historic preservation. Through these efforts, I have learned how knowledge benefits the design process and how we can each support design within our community.

AIA Seattle provides a framework to empower our design profession and enrich the built environment. As a member of the Board, I will work hard to affect positive change within that mission. Through support of continuing education, advancement of design dialogue, and attention to legislative action, I will strengthen our common goals toward building a vibrant community which supports thoughtful and inspiring design.
