The AIA Seattle Committee on the Environment announces publication of the 2003 Case Studies, presenting projects exhibited and discussed at the April Earth Day Conference, with the purpose of bringing forward innovation in sustainable design.

According to Event CoChairs Brenda Bradford (for the AIA Seattle Committee on the Environment) and Kathleen McCarthy (IIDA of Washington), and Senior Editor Michael Fiegenschuh, the publication "serves both as a record of the projects submitted for the ... exhibit, and as a reference tool for designers seeking to implement the strategies displayed here." Entries include academic projects, commercial buildings, educational buildings, public buildings, residential buildings, and master plans.
