Committee on the Environment (COTE)

Beginning in 1998, the AIA Seattle COTE has maintained an active program, centered on education and the collection, exhibit, review, learning from, and publication of case studies, known as What Makes It GREEN? The case studies exhibited and discussed provide the basis of a regular program of case study sessions.  Other aspects of the COTE work have culminated in advocacy at the local, state, and national levels related to energy regulation and codes.
