REQUIREMENTS
All registered Architect Members (except those with Emeritus status) must complete 18 learning units (LUs) at least 8 in topics related to health, safety and welfare.  Learn more about AIA's continuing education requirements.

New Sustainable Design LUs
The AIA Board of Directors modified the AIA — member continuing education requirement to include 4 hours of education in sustainable design as part of the existing 18 — hour annual requirement. This sustainable design requirement goes into effect in calendar year 2009 and extends through 2012. For more info. about the new SD credits, visit AIA National.

AIA Seattle presents over 50 continuing education events per year, many of them costing free or nominal cost for members.  A current class listing is below.
