What Makes It GREEN?, usually awarded in April, recognizes significant projects in sustainable design by architects and designers in Washinton, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Montana, Guam, Hawaii, Hong Kong and Japan.

AIA Seattle's gallery at 1911 First Ave in Seattle is open from 10-5 weekdays, and hosts a wide range of exhibitions about design and planning.
OPEN HOUSE
The Open House program solicits applications of architect-designed homes for regular feature publication in Seattle Magazine's Northwest Home, with an open house held on a Sunday afternoon during the month of publication.
PROJECT OF THE MONTH
The Project of the Month program is a juried review of architect-designed projects including commercial, industrial, and multi-family residential buildings for monthly publication in the Daily Journal of Commerce.
