AIA Seattle Affiliated Practice
Eligibility Policy
Affiliated Practice benefits are above and beyond those benefits included with individual membership. To be recognized as an AIA Seattle Affiliated Practice:
1. The practice must have legal status as a practice or sole proprietorship which offers/provides architectural services to the public and employs one or more registered architects to do so.
2. The sole proproprietor or the managing partner/principal of the practice must be an AIA Architect Member of AIA Seattle, and he/she must report annually how many registered architect members and how many registered architect non-members the practice employs, and then pay the Firm Non-Member Surcharge accordingly.
3. Additionally, AIA Seattle requires a small annual fee to establish and maintain AIA Seattle Affiliated Practice status.
