Throughout his distinguished career, Jim Olson FAIA has created memorable homes for families, businesses and institutions across the Northwest and the world while influencing and mentoring a generation of design professionals. In residential projects for major art collectors, Jim's work has particularly explored the relationship of art and architecture.
Projects directed by Jim Olson have captured national and international honors and acclaim. His Seattle buildings exemplify his commitment to weaving the architectural experience into the city fabric, perhaps most notably demonstrated in the mixed-use Pike and Virginia project.
He expresses his commitment to the cultural life of Seattle through service on the boards of numerous arts and cultural organizations including the Seattle Art Museum, and he lectures widely on the relationship of art and architecture.
