Guidelines for Speakers
Please plan for a presentation approximately 30-45 minutes in length, with opportunity for interaction or Q&A, in an informal and collegial setting with a pleasing menu. Typically, sessions begin with self-introduction of all guests, with the invitation to offer any special brief personal observations about the guest speaker — encouraging a friendly exchange. We ask speakers to offer remarks reflecting and highlighting personal and professional influences and inspirations. Baby pictures encouraged!

Note that AIA Seattle provides invited presenters with a complimentary meal. We welcome family and friends and urge you to share the invitation with colleagues you would like to join you, though not at AIA Seattle expense.

AIA Seattle, in cooperation with on-site venue staff, may provide the following equipment to support the audio-visual aspects of your presentation:
… Lapel-clip microphone (for recording use only; intimate space does not require amplification)
… Digital OR slide projector. Presenters may choose to use additional equipment at their own arrangement and expense. Please advise AIA Seattle Program Director Peter Sackett of your equipment choices.

AIA Seattle will record the session as part of the professional legacy of the design community, and can provide presenters with copies of the recording by request, at their expense. AIA Seattle retains the right to copy and distribute the recording.

THANK YOU for your participation.
